My Specialities

My Routine

In my routine I wake up to a glass of warm water & lemon followed by conscious breath work, some nourishing yoga flow to warm up my joints and stretch my body, and I finally have some breakfast which is always served with a generous pinch of gratitude for the life I was given the opportunity to have.

When you sleep, muscles relax, blood flow decreases, and your heart rate slows. If you are lying in the same position all night, your muscles tend to tighten up. Humans, like other animals, instinctively stretch after sleeping to get the blood flowing and wake up the muscles. Stretching after sleep and increasing blood flow also just feels good for all parts of the body.

I usually train my body around three to four times a week with functional training and weight-lifting.

Functional training, bodyweight hypertrophy and weight-lifting isn’t just about bulking up and building muscle mass. Its benefits include improved posture, better sleep, increased bone density, maintained weight loss, boosted metabolism, reduced risk of  inflammation and chronic disease.
Having a good training routine and a consistent yoga practice can have a profound effect on your physical fitness efforts, and I just love the feeling of stretching my muscles when they are sore and tired from a good workout.

“Training gives us an outlet for suppressed energies created by stress
and thus tones the spirit just as exercise conditions the body.”

of everyday life

GIADA GIOVANNONI

As a full-time yoga instructor with a demanding schedule that has me running between classes and private sessions most of the day, my personal Yoga practice has become essential to recharging and giving energies back to my body, mind, and spirit. It is when I feel the urge to come back to my body and my energy that I tend to practice Yin Yoga.

Yin yoga in an introspective practice which consists of a series of long-held, passive floor asanas.

This practice allows to get deeper both at a physical level (targeting the deepest tissues of the body – our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians) and also at a spiritual level (holding poses requires presence, meditation and a profound sense of stillness of the mind).

Through Yin Yoga we direct our full attention to our self care, and the more we practice the more we master the ability of observing the arising of body sensations and secret emotions.

Awaken your infinite potential

Strength & Conditioning

Strength-based workout designed to strengthen your body, your posture and give yourself the shape you want.

Personalised 1:1 Yoga & Pilates

Learn the basics of Yoga which will be a useful arrow in your training quiver as these basics form the foundation of general flexibility and mobility. Use Pilates-based movement to tighten and tone your whole body, stabilise your muscles to not only lengthen them, but also to improve posture and increase overall strength. Private yoga classes allow you to work on the poses and stretches that make sense for you on your schedule and at your own pace. These private sessions allow you to ease into yoga in a safer manner, with proper alignment and a clear focus on your goals and needs.

My group classes are
powerful, creative and intelligently sequenced.

I like to offer an engaging, challenging, fun, enthusiastic and compassionate teaching style which radiates positive energy, challenges my students’ limitations, strengthens their body, and reconnects them to the their breath, mind and heart.

My aim is to have my students leaving the classroom feeling lighter, motivated, stronger, more peaceful and connected, and to carry that into their daily lives.

Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan,
in which we must fervently believe,
and upon which we must vigorously act.
There is no other route to success"
